Under The Manger

 



  Santa Claus wasn't the one that was born without sin as a Governor to rule Israel.   
  The toys he gives to children all across the world means nothing.   
  Baking cookies and fixing a glass of milk is a waste of time (it all goes down the throats of parents anyway).   
  The only deception that this fat jolly white man from the North Pole is hiding is the fact that he is impersonating a saint from Turkey.   
  Materialism, bankruptcy, debt, and greed have been passed down from generation to generation, all thanks to this folkloric character.          

  A tree with decorations on is nothing but a huge ornament.    
  Whatever goes beneath the tree does not bring eternal life.    
  Wrapping items of high value to build up fragile egos has never been the answer to the world's plagues.       
  Don't follow the ways of the heathens.

  I would like to humbly say that it is not under a mistletoe where we should find enjoyment, but under the manger.  
  Putting Christ back into the holiday we cherish so much (for the wrong reasons) would be a good start.  
  Showing and declaring Christ's lordship isn't just for December 25th, but something to do 24-7-365.  
  My only hope is not that you take this as an opinion but as a pledge of faith.
