3 Wise Men

One night during history's past there were three wise men from the east of Jerusalem.
Where is he that is born King of the Jews? They asked themselves, for they have saw a star in the east and had traveled to worship him.
Herod the King had heard of the coming birth of this child as told by the prophets and it troubled him.
Gathering all the priest and scribes it was told to Herod the King that this child will be born in Bethlehem of Judaea.
Right then and there it would be prophesied that in the land of Juda there shall come a Governor that shall rule the people of Israel.

The wise men were called to meet with Herod the King and was asked diligently as it regarded the time that the star appeared.
In the night sky the same star appears, and the wise men rejoiced and were full of joy.
When they had stepped foot on their destination the wise men fell and worshipped the child while he laid in his mother Mary's arms, and they presented gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Speaking to the wise men in a dream, God warned them not to return to Herod the King, so they departed into their own country another way.

In thirty-three years, this child would go from being born in a manger in Bethlehem.
  To being raised in Nazareth.
  To teaching in temples.
  To raising up twelve disciples.
To healing the sick on the Sabbath Day.
  To being judge by Pharisees.
To putting on sin on the cross at Mount Calvary.
To being buried in a tomb.
To defeating death on the third day.
To sitting on the right hand of the throne of God.
It is through his stripes and bruises that we are healed and delivered from our sins.
Jesus Christ is not just the world's only Lord and Savior.
But He is the reason for the season.
